Introduction to Day 1 – Foodie: In this video, which is part of the nutrition series, we take a look at healthy eating. John Turner introduces “Farm to Table” or “Garden to Table” eating. He introduces us to lettuce and how one can tell the different types of lettuce apart by the color of the lettuce, how lettuce cleans the liver and that a good lettuce should have a slightly bitter taste. The comparison between eating mustard plants and mustard sauce is discussed as mustard sauce is highly processed, whereas plants from the mustard family are 100% healthy and provide other nutritional benefits which he tells us about.
